Delightfully gruesome!
Lisa's life is turned upside down by a terrible car crash that claims her father's life. There is so much healing to be done. But which scars are the worst... the physical, or the mental? Lisa soon goes back to school under the watchful eye of her psychiatrist and worrisome mother. Lisa even retains a job as a babysitter. However she soon realizes the money isn't worth babysitting this 8 year old boy. Something terrible is happening on Fear Street and it's claiming the lives of Lisa's friends one by one. Will she discover the secrets and expose the truth; not to mention make it out...alive? I can't say enough times how much I love RL Stine's writing. Just enough detail but not too much. The stories flow effortlessly from one conundrum to another. The characters are simple and believable. He is just an awesome writer. Although I thought the ending was a little goofy (as per Stine's style), the book was awesome! I enjoyed it very much and look forward to reading the next Fear Street installment. I highly recommend this book to teen readers and above.
