Whoa!!!! 😲
A fabulously reimagined retelling of the famous novel of Victor Frankenstein and his monster creation. However this story is told from the point-of-view of Elizabeth Victor's adopted sister and eventually his wife. I don't say this lightly and I mean it when I say this, this may be the perfect book guys! Masterfully written in the perfect language skills that reflect the time era it was written for. Little homages speckled here and there throughout the book as if to give an honorable credit to the amazing original work that it was written from. the author writes in such a believable fashion that you can actually see through the eyes of Elizabeth herself as she slowly descends into the madness that Victor has weaved around her. *SPOILER AHEAD* The fact that this book was originally written by a woman makes it almost preordained that this new book should be written from the main woman's point of view. The author spins the story in such a way that it is Elizabeth herself who creates the monster instead of Victor. Victor Frankenstein is no victim in this tale of horror. I found her turning of the story to be both riveting and engaging on all levels. *END OF SPOILER* I love this book so much I actually took my time sitting and reading it and hanging on every word that was written on every page. Slowly chewing over every delightful little tidbit like a bit of delicious devil's food cake. Enjoying every morsel. I did not just read this book, I absorbed this book! The story followed the original tale with perfect precision and even threw a couple of new aspects to spice up the pot. This book was amazing the whole way through! I would definitely recommend this book to just about anyone but mostly to those who enjoy horror and those who enjoy Classics retold. If you have not read it already you need to read this book!!!

A great few reads.
This book contains the works of none other than the masters themselves: Bram Stoker, HG Wells, HP Lovecraft, Roald Dahl, Stephen King, Robert Bloch and Edgar Allan Poe! All great tales of terror and supernatural occurrences. The first few stories in this book were pretty slow and uneventful. But about the middle of the book It starts picking up and really starts becoming fun to read. The book is well put-together and collaborated. And of course I can't say more about the writing of the multiple master authors that penned the works in this book. All are great! This is definitely a book that I would recommend to any horror fan to add to their library. #49 "Open wide and say... mouthwash!"
