Great read...
Zoe is back in this fun tale of mystery and suspense! Trying her hand at running her own business in the carnival is difficult but, when the rides start breaking down and falling apart, things start to heat up. And we're not just talkin summer heat! Can Zoe use her telepathic abilities to stop all this mayhem? R. L. Walker has done it again! A wonderfully mysterious book with great characters, a great setting and a great plot. I really love that the author is developing her character throughout these books. It's like watching a child grow and that is what a series should be. Walker definitely has this ability down pat. While the plot was a bit similar to the original book, The Disappearing Act, Walker definitely kicks it up a notch in this second installment. I can't wait to see how the stakes raise in the third installment. I have to say I also really liked the idea of deep-fried soda pop. I have heard of deep-fried Kool-Aid but never soda pop so this was very new and exciting to me. I would like to add that I did find a few editing errors in my copy but would like to also mention that I am reading the unedited ARC version. I am almost certain these errors have been fixed in the official published copy. All things put together, this is a great read and I would be happy to recommend it.
